Sulfuric acid pumping tanks
The sulfuric acid pumping tanks receive the acid from the two absorption towers and the drying tower. In this equipment the addition of dilution water must be controlled. With the plate exchangers or anodic protection, the entry temperature to the towers and the output of the product to storage are controlled.
CONPANCOL has manufactured these tanks in carbon steel with an antacid brick coating, with teflon and peacock. We make the design and specifications for the installation of the pumps and the MONDI or SX pipe for the handling of the sulfuric acid and the adequate instrumentation of the process. We also supply these materials.
These tanks can be horizontal or vertical (for H2SO4 98% or 95%).
